Mohamed Gad, the “Golden Man” of Sports Marketing, Leads a Regional Shift in How Sports Talent Is Found and Developed
Mohamed Gad, Chairman of G Global and the Tatweeg News platform and widely recognized as the “Golden Man” of sports marketing in the Middle East, has announced the launch of a new strategy aimed at discovering athletic talent within private-sector companies and sports institutions. The strategy focuses on organizing sports events that bring together parents and their children, creating an engaging environment to identify promising young athletes across various sports, including football, basketball, modern pentathlon, combat sports, and E-Sports.
Gad confirmed that he has already signed several new partnerships through which these events will begin rolling out at the start of 2026. This initiative forms part of a broader plan to strengthen the region’s sports infrastructure and elevate talent-identification systems. It also builds upon his continued efforts over recent years to advance the sports marketing sector and enhance its role in shaping new generations of athletes.
Mohamed Gad is considered one of the most influential figures in sports marketing across the Arab world. He has successfully managed and developed marketing projects for multiple Olympic and world champions, including Egypt’s Olympic modern pentathlon champion Ahmed El Gendy, Olympic taekwondo medalist Seif Eissa, Saudi Arabia’s world champion Donia Abu Taleb in taekwondo, and the Fujairah Martial Arts Club in the United Arab Emirates.
Throughout his career, Gad has gained the trust of major sports institutions with notable Olympic and international achievements in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Morocco, solidifying his reputation as the region’s “Golden Man” of sports marketing. He also owns Tatweeg News, one of the most prominent sports platforms in the Arab world, which spotlights the achievements of global, Olympic, Egyptian, and Arab athletes.
Tatweeg News additionally serves as the organizer of the annual “Best Awards,” a fan-voting competition that has run for five consecutive years, celebrating the top sports accomplishments of the year. The event concludes with an honors ceremony attended by leading sports officials from the Arab world and beyond, along with ministers, ambassadors, and media representatives.
