Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the Judiciary on an Official Visit to the New Capital

The New Capital welcomed H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah and President of the Judiciary, accompanied by a delegation that included the Head of the Judicial Department, the President of the Court of Cassation, and a number of senior judicial figures from the Emirate, as part of his official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

At the Egypt Islamic Cultural Center, the distinguished guest was welcomed by Counselor Adnan Fangary, Minister of Justice; Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Awqaf; and Eng. Khaled Abbas, Chairman and Managing Director of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development Company.

The visit commenced with a warm welcome, followed by an extensive tour of the Egypt Islamic Cultural Center—one of the most prominent religious and cultural landmarks of the New Capital—housing the largest mosque in Egypt, the Islamic Museum, the Conference Center, and the House of the Holy Qur’an, which stands as a unique icon of spiritual and architectural significance worldwide.

The program also included a tour of the Arts and Culture City, which features the Music Hall, Drama Theater, and the largest Opera House in the region. H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi expressed his admiration for the modern facilities that blend authenticity with contemporary design.

At the conclusion of the visit, His Highness expressed his appreciation for the comprehensive urban renaissance he witnessed, praising the New Capital project as an advanced model of sustainable development and a promising vision for Egypt’s future.
