INP Egypt and Germany’s Afrika-Verein have signed agreements with Master Point, a company specializing in marketing solutions and organizing international conferences and exhibitions, along with the St. Regis Cairo Hotel, to host the 3rd International Green Hydrogen Exhibition and Conference, titled “Third Hydrogen in Africa – Egypt.” The event will be held for the first time in Egypt from 28–29 October.
After two successful editions in Germany, the conference and exhibition have become a global platform that unites government officials, private sector leaders, academics, researchers, and scientists from across Europe and Africa.
The event focuses on showcasing the latest technologies and economic models in clean energy production, while highlighting key investment opportunities in the hydrogen sector.
Eng. Alaa Kamal, chairman of INP Egypt and vice president of the German Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce, stated that the conference aligns with efforts to harness Africa’s available energy resources for hydrogen and clean energy production. It also aims to supply Europe with the clean energy it needs and to introduce African nations to hydrogen production technologies, encouraging collaboration between European hydrogen-consuming companies and African countries.
Kamal added that Egypt was selected to host the conference thanks to the government’s strong drive to expand clean energy production, the attractive incentives it offers for project implementation, and its solid ties and strategic partnership with the European Union.
Mohamed Sweid, chairman of Master Point, stated that hosting the “Hydrogen In Africa – Egypt” conference and exhibition reinforces Egypt’s efforts and role in becoming a hub for exporting clean energy from Africa to the European Union.
He said that the collaboration between Master Point, INP Egypt, and the German organization Afrika-Verein— a leader in organizing international conferences and exhibitions — will ensure the event is delivered in a way that reflects Egypt’s strategic position and global stature.
For his part, Ramy Galal, CEO of Master Point, said the company has a fully integrated team and strategic partnerships that enable it to execute this global event with a high level of precision and professionalism.
