The First African Conference on AI Solutions in Healthcare in Partnership Between the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement (UPA), Moharram & Partners (M&P), and the African Union (AU)

The Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply, and Technology Management (UPA) along with Moharram & Partners (M&P), a leading group in public affairs and strategic communications, have signed a strategic partnership to support the 4th Africa Health ExCon 2025, to be held on June 24 to 27, 2025, at Al Manara International Conference Center in Cairo. This year’s edition will mark the first-ever African conference dedicated to AI solutions in healthcare. The UPA is organizing this prestigious regional conference, which has witnessed great success in its previous three editions. The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) will serve as a key partner for this fourth edition, in collaboration with the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD), Moharram & Partners (M&P), and ACCESS Health International as strategic partners.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Kamal Ebeid, Executive Director of Africa Health ExCon, and Mr. Sherif Bendary, Managing Partner for Egypt, Libya & Sudan, in the presence of Dr. Hisham Stait, Chairman of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Mr. Moustafa Moharram, Founder & Chairman of Moharram & Partners (M&P), and Amb. Sherif El Bedewy, Chief Executive Officer (M&P).

The 4th Africa Health ExCon serves as a regional platform to explore AI’s capabilities in healthcare through policy development, innovation promotion, and strategic partnerships between governments and global firms specializing in this innovative field. As part of this partnership, Moharram & Partners (M&P) will call upon leading local, regional, and international technological firms specializing in AI healthcare solutions to showcase their innovations during the 4th Africa Health ExCon and explore how these technologies can enhance healthcare services in Egypt and African markets.

In this occasion, Dr. Hisham Stait, Chairman of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, highlighted that this partnership serves as a major step in positioning Egypt as a leader in health innovation in Africa by integrating cutting-edge digital solutions and AI technologies into all fields. He stated: “We aim at leveraging AI capabilities in delivering the highest-quality healthcare services to Egyptian citizens through our collaboration with Moharram & Partners (M&P), one of the most prominent public affairs and Strategic Communication group in the region.”
