Al Manar Group, a leading company in the manufacturing, blending, and distribution of automotive fluids, celebrated its 50th anniversary with an event attended by its employees, agents, and business partners from around the world.
At the event, the company unveiled its strategic plan to prioritize local manufacturing and expand its presence in both the Egyptian and regional markets. This initiative marks the culmination of over five decades of expertise and dedication in the Egyptian market, during which Al Manar has earned strong customer trust and solidified its position as a cornerstone of the national industry in the field of automotive oils and spare parts.

He stated, “We are proud to hold a significant share of the automotive oil market in Egypt with our distinguished products such as BENDIX and FORMA.”
“We have solidified our leadership position in the Egyptian market,” Dr. Nawara remarked. “In 2022, we launched our second factory, featuring cutting-edge technologies and a production capacity of 50,000 tons annually, enabling us to triple our production output.”
He added, “Our expansion has not been limited to automotive oils; it has also extended to industrial and machinery oils, with future plans to manufacture oils for ships and yachts. We have successfully established several partnerships with major global companies, such as Petromin, Petronas, and Total in the areas of oil blending, packaging, and distribution, further strengthening our position as a trusted provider of high-quality products.”
Nawara stated that the company’s expansion has not been limited to the local market, saying, “Al Manar has established itself as an international entity, with a commercial office in Italy. Currently, we are exporting our products to North Africa and several countries in East Africa, including Tanzania, Madagascar, Zimbabwe, and Rwanda. We are also exporting 10% of our production and we aim to increase this figure to 50% by broadening our presence in new markets across Europe and beyond.”
Reflecting on the past fifty years, Nawara acknowledged the challenges the company faced both locally and internationally. However, he emphasized that Al Manar’s ability to overcome obstacles through flexibility, adaptability, and constant innovation has been key to its substantial growth and success.
“Over the course of five decades, our expertise has grown, our operations have expanded, and Al Manar has become a major industrial and commercial powerhouse, thanks to the efforts and dedication of successive generations,” he added.
