These initiatives came coinciding with the back-to-school season, aiming to provide healthy and well-balanced meals in collaboration with local partners and civil society organizations. talabat mart initiated proactive steps by partnering with Misr El-Kheir Foundation, Domty and Mondelez, ahead of the new school year and amid the rising economic pressures on thousands of families. The initiative aims to provide nutritious meals to more than 25,580 students across 700 community schools in 11 governorates. talabat’s vision goes beyond simply providing meals, it seeks to instill a sense of care and reassurance in students and their families, while emphasizing the importance of nutritional support as part of their educational journey. A successful school year depends not only on new school bags and books, but also on proper nutrition that provides the children with the energy and increase the focus needed to learn, grow, and thrive, ensuring every student has a fair opportunity to succeed.
In parallel, talabat launched a campaign in collaboration with “Ahfad Al Zaytoun” initiative, aimed to bring hope to Palestinian children from Gaza who are now in Egypt. The initiative focuses on providing psychological support and comfort to children facing difficult challenges away from home. In partnership with local food suppliers like domty, ChewChew, and Spuds, talabat delivered 4,000 healthy brunch meals throughout two months. These meals represent tangible support and a strong message of solidarity, reaffirming the Egyptian community’s compassion and unity towards the Palestinian people during this critical time. talabat teams were present on the ground, embodying the spirit of togetherness while supporting these meaningful humanitarian moments.
