Cairo Festival City Mall and Phlog Partner to Empower Emerging Talents with Landmark Exhibition

In line with Al-Futtaim Real Estate’s vision to reinvent spaces by leveraging available areas at the mall, Cairo Festival City Mall has collaborated with Phlog to provide a dedicated exhibition area aimed at empowering homegrown talented photographers through a comprehensive suite of offerings. Together, they aim to unlock unique opportunities for emerging photographers in Egypt, particularly youths.
The partnership aims to showcase the work of 12 photographers. This initiative aligns with Cairo Festival City’s commitment to promoting Egypt’s vibrant artistic and cultural scene. As part of its social responsibility strategy, Festival Cares, Al-Futtaim strives to uplift communities by creating a positive, sustainable impact that resonates across all aspects of life in Egypt.
The exhibition, running until the end of July under the theme of “Urban Reimagining,” showcases captivating beauty and artistic shots of urban cities as well as Cairo Festival City’s residential, commercial, and office spaces, alongside the mall itself. Recognizing the top-performing photographers, Cairo Festival City Mall and Phlog organized a competition where three of the exhibiting artists, Youssef Hany, Hossam Ibrahim, and Mahmoud Kamal, were awarded for their ‘Best Photoshoot’.

Furthermore, Cairo Festival City Mall partnered with Vogue Italia magazine to host the ‘Cairo Fashion Experience’ program, to support young Egyptian talents in the fashion and design industry, helping them to thrive and gain recognition in the field.
